Right after New Years’s Day 2014, we will offer the outstandig new album from REUBENS ACCOMPLICE for pre-order: “Sons Of Men” The album is now up at our webstore. Release date is January 24th.
The record has been self released by the band in the US in 2012, and it will finally be out Jan 24th on Arctic Rodeo. “Sons Of Men” is available on 180g white vinyl only. Free download will be included. The mp3 download voucher will give you access to download all 10 songs from the album + 10 demo tracks + 10 unreleased tracks. A pretty massive package of music you should definitely call your own.
“Sons Of Men” has been produced by 3-time Grammy Award Winner Chris Testa and features a 14 piece orchestra arranged by John O’Reilly Jr.
It includes guest appearances from Davey Von Bohlen (Cap’n Jazz, The Promise Ring, Maritime, Vermont) and Jon Rauhouse (Neko Case, Giant Sand, Calexico).
Their previous album “The Bull, the Balloon, and the Family” had been released back in 2004 on Western Tread Recordings, the label run by Jim Adkins from Jimmy Eat World. Adkins also took part in producing the record and played on it as well. Further guests had been members of The Promise Ring, Calexico and Giant Sand. “The Bull, the Balloon, and the Family” received excellent reviews all over the world, and was featured as the “Album Of The Month” in Visions Magazine in Germany. The band toured in Germany opening up for with Olli Schulz, and furthermore, REUBENS ACCOMPLICE have been on the road with bands such as Karate, Maritime, Pedro The Lion, The Promise Ring, The Weakerthans and Jimmy Eat World of course.
